PEMKO MANUFACTURING

California-based Pemko Manufacturing, An Assa Abloy Group Company, a leading supplier of door parts to the commercial building industry, wanted a website that would not only act as a resource for product information, but also build customer loyalty. Two previous attempts to design and build this application (a substantial project involving thousands of parts and a myriad of related data) had ended in failure.

We invested a significant amount of time in the field expanding our understanding of the problem in an effort to identify opportunity. Our research uncovered two important nuggets that would become the driving force behind the successful design and on-time implementation of the application.

STARZ SANTA TRACKER

The Starz Santa Tracker is a Flash project that we designed and produced for Starz Entertainment. The application, deployed in tandem with a television advertising campaign, allowed children to track Santa's movements throughout the day on December 24th. Leave it open for a while to see Santa reach new cities. For the purpose of this demonstration, we have ensured that every day is Christmas Eve!

IMAGESELLER/BROWN-FORMAN

Working for our client ImageSeller, we developed and provided ongoing support for BFBWwear.net--an application servicing 26 Brown-Forman Corporation brands with more than 10,000 SKUs of promotional merchandise. With the help of this web site, millions of dollars worth of product exchanged hands each year.

Our research, in preparation for the development of the second iteration of this software, indicated opportunities in a number of areas. By rethinking the organization of products and flattening the ordering interface, we were able to offer significant value to the end-user. By contextualizing core administrative functions, we were able to significantly reduce the amount of time spent managing the product.

Over time, we were called on to develop additional features, such as the ability to semi-automate a complicated billing-code process, offer user-customization of products and direct integration and exchange of data with various Brown-Forman, ImageSeller and third party information systems.

EAGLE COUNTY GOVERNMENT

The Property Assessment and Tax Information system (PATI) is one of a suite of dynamic, rich internet applications that Trilemetry developed for Eagle County (Colorado) Government. The goal of the system was to reduce workload and improve customer service by allowing residents to directly access various county databases.

The project served up the dual challenge of exchanging information with the client’s legacy, customized databases and creating a user interface that was simple and easy to use, despite the vast amounts of information available. While several of these applications have been updated or replaced, PATI remains in service today.

ECOSPORTS

EcoSports is an application that we built for Eagle County, Colorado (think Vail and Beaver Creek) as part of an interactive campaign to convince potential visitors that the county has more to offer than just winter sports. This rich internet application allows users to drill down into an activity, producing maps and other detailed information.
